We believe we have the best care givers in the Triangle and appreciate all that they do. Congratulations to Vonda Gilliam for being recognized as the Extension of You Employee of the Quarter. Vonda’s genuine concern for her clients and their families shows in her commitment to them. She meets each client where they are and tailors her care to their needs, even as those needs vary from day to day. She has a caring and outgoing personality that always brightens her clients’ day.

Vonda is a home care companion. She helps clients with things like shopping, laundry, and cooking. She says that sometimes just spending time with clients is the most helpful thing she can do. She commented, “My favorite part of the job is being there to help someone do the things they can’t do for themselves. It makes me happy to hear a client say that I’ve made their day.”

In her free time, Vonda enjoys going to the mountains with her family and camping. When asked what she felt was the most important trait to being successful, she answered, “I think it’s important to be happy and flexible.” This shows through Vonda’s personality and the way she interacts with others.
